In essence, there are too many lower priced, high quality, high-end comparables to make it worth your while to break the $10,000 mark on this purchase.

However, were I to splurge so extravagantly, I would be far more likely to bet on a mid-range Cartier which displays excessive diamonds tastefully and offers warm palettes that compensate for obvious extravagance, opening the gates for modest and blingy high-end dressers alike to make a purchase in good conscience. All in all, while this watch is a high quality choice, aesthetically speaking, you can do much better.

As you would expect, all of the external components and inner workings are made from high quality materials and as a middle-of-the-road ocean diver, you may be impressed with the water-resistance support to 330 ft which is uncharacteristic of many high-end watches in this price range. On the other hand, the contrast between a rubber strap and blingy diamond bezel rubs my taste buds the wrong way and leaves me wishing to clear my palette with sorbet.

In spite of the materials, I find this watch aesthetically uptight and overdone. Thus, this is a purchase I would pass on. While I would not consider it a rip-off from a fiscal investment standpoint, I think of a high-end watch as a long-term fashion statement, not just a long-term investment. Therefore, I would say no go on this baby. Before opening your wallet to dole out 50k, at least take a look at some comparables from Cartier!
